How do I know if I'm "ready" for this?
Most clients book this session feeling clear about their values + what they bring to the table, but unsure how to visually communicate them. The Signature Session is designed to create clarity— not require it upfront. If you're coming in with fresh branding, a fully fledged website, and photos are just the final piece of the puzzle, that's great! But many of my clients also start with their photos as the inspiration for the rest of their rebrand or launch design process!
So, tl;dr- as long as you know what makes you special, you're ready.
How is this different from a typical brand photoshoot?
There are a couple distinct ways that the Signature Session differs from typical brand shoots. Firstly, this session isn’t about short-term content or trends. We begin with intentional planning around positioning, tone, and audience, so your imagery attracts the right people and supports long-term, relationship-based growth— not just going viral tomorrow.
The other main distinction is that we have a BIG focus on resonance, and creating imagery that will be felt by your potential clients rather than just observed. Part of our magic is the ability to infuse that emotion into your future client's first encounter with you!
I’m awkward in front of the camera. Will that be a problem?
Not at ALL— and you’re not alone! Even as a photographer I consistently feel like this when I invest in my own branding photos! But this experience is guided and supportive from start to finish. You’ll never be left wondering what to do or how to stand; my job is to hype you up the entire time and make you feel like a million bucks!
How long will it take for me to start seeing real change in my business?
Honestly- most of my clients feel an immediate shift in confidence and ease once their images are delivered. From there, the impact compounds! It won't take long for you to have warmer inquiries, easier conversations, stronger referrals, and a clearer brand presence!
How does booking + payment work?
You’ll start by submitting an inquiry. I'll take some time to read through it and if I feel like we are aligned and the Signature Session is right for you, I’ll guide you through next steps, including booking and payment options. Pay-in-full, 6-month, and 12-month plans are available to support sustainable decision-making.
Can I bring in my own vendors?
Absolutely! I love working with stylists, prop assistants, florists, hair and makeup teams, and anyone else you think would be a good collaborator for your session! I also have great go-to's for these kinds of services if you're looking to add anything like that onto your shoot!
How did you land on your pricing structure?
Yes my pricing for these sessions was VERY intentional.
It ensures that all shoot costs are covered, and that I can pay myself
after all is said and done!
Believe it or not, many photographers do not make a living wage because their rates don't end up compensating for how expensive it is to run a photography business. So I wanted to choose a rate that was still attainable for small businesses (a price that I would pay as a small business myself!) as well as something that allows me to actually take home some income!
How long will it take for my gallery to be delivered?
My gallery delivery is typically 3-5 weeks after your session to make sure I have enough time to create your semi-custom brand edit, as well as do any retouching that is needed to keep the images looking polished and professional.
However, I usually do send a little sneak peek right after your session so that you have some fun content to post and share right away!
